Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd is seeking Mobile Care Assistants to join our care team across Sheffield and surrounding areas. You will travel between developments delivering personal care and domestic services, with rota-based hours including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.50, plus 0.30 per hour for evenings and 1.30 per hour for weekends, along with a probation bonus of £300 and mileage paid at 43p per mile.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment; Level 2 Health and Social Care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and provide domestic support such as cleaning and shopping.
• Assist with social activities, transport arrangements, and appointments to support wellbeing.
