Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking Mobile Care Assistants to deliver personalised care and domestic support across Sheffield and surrounding areas. You will travel between developments, with rota shifts including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.

A £300 probation bonus is offered, plus mileage paid and travel expenses covered. Applicants should have Level 2 Health & Social Care or be willing to train; a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment is preferred, but full training is provided.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own car.
• Flexibility to work a rota including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
• Maintain and tidy communal areas, support domestic tasks and shopping where needed.
• Support residents with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to improve wellbeing.
