Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team in Rotherham. The role covers personal care and domestic tasks across developments, with travel between sites using your own car.

An hourly rate of £14.50 plus enhancements for evenings (30p) and weekends (£1.30) applies, on a 20-hour weekly rota between 7am and 10pm. You will provide personalised care, support with daily activities and medications, and assist with communal house duties.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management are essential.
• Flexibility to work a rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
• Training provided for career changers in care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and offer domestic support such as cleaning and shopping.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
