Job description

Job Title: Mobile Building Service Engineer

Location: London

Contract: Retail/ Office

Salary: Up to GBP40,000 Per Annum + Company Vehicle

I am seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mobile Building Services Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve providing maintenance and technical support across a portfolio of commercial sites in London, ensuring that all building services and systems are operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems, and able to carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out routine PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
2. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, to a high standard, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Conduct inspections and fault-finding on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to ensure safe and effective operation.
4. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide clear communication to clients and management.
5. Liaise with building managers and clients to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
6. Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
7. Maintain and improve the quality and safety of systems across multiple sites.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
2. Proven experience in commercial building maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
4. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. A valid driver's license is essential for travel between sites.
