Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile General Maintenance Operative to join our HMCTS contract in Guildford. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric and limited engineering assets on client sites, ensuring safety and contractual standards are met. You will carry out carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring and general maintenance tasks, with reputable opportunities to

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance across a range of trades.
• Ability to follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Good understanding of health and safety on client sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on building fabric and assets.
• Inspect and repair floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, doors, fire doors, windows, furniture and fittings.
• Undertake minor carpentry, plumbing, flooring, painting and decorating works.
• Inspect and clear drainage and gully systems; unblock toilets and sinks.
• Inspect and replace luminaires; support general site-service tasks.
• Supervise subcontractors and support emergency works.
• Prepare parts lists, timescales and quotation information as required.
• Maintain CAFM, Helpdesk and maintenance records accurately.
