Tech-People in Camberley is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well‑established, privately owned mechanical services contractor. The role covers installation, service, maintenance and breakdowns across commercial and domestic sites with predominantly local travel around Camberley, Hampshire and nearby areas.

You’ll work as part of a team that values engineers, offering a varied workload, local work, overtime, a company van and a supportive management.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 F-Gas & ODS Regulations - Category 1 minimum.
• Proven experience within the air conditioning industry.
• Strong installation experience across split, multi-split and/or VRV/VRF.
• Service and maintenance experience.
• Confident fault-finding and diagnosing issues.
• Comfortable working across commercial and domestic environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally based in or around Camberley / Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Installation of split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Servicing and planned maintenance.
• Reactive repairs and breakdowns.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Commissioning and testing.
• Working on both commercial and domestic systems.
• Working from drawings and installation specifications.

They're looking to add an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to their team, offering a genuinely varied role across commercial and domestic environments, with a great mix of installation, service, maintenance and breakdown work.

You’ll be working across a loyal customer base throughout Camberley, Hampshire and the surrounding areas, meaning you’ll get plenty of variety without constantly being sent miles from home.

The Role

This isn’t your standard install‑only position.

You’ll be getting your hands on a really varied mix of air conditioning work, including:

• Installation of split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF systems
• Servicing and planned maintenance

• Fault‑finding and diagnostics
• Commissioning and testing
• Working on both commercial and domestic systems
• Working from drawings and installation specifications
• Carrying out works to a high standard and taking pride in your workmanship
• Travelling to customer sites throughout Camberley, Hampshire and the surrounding areasWith a mixture of install, service and maintenance, this is a great role for an engineer who doesn’t want to pigeonholed into doing the same thing every day.

What We’re Looking For

• City & Guilds Level 2 F‑Gas & ODS Regulations - Category 1 minimum
• Proven experience within the air conditioning industry
