Options Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer for a mobile field-based role covering the South Coast and London. You will install and commission split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems at commercial and residential sites, plan your daily workload and liaise with clients on site.

A company van, fuel arrangement and devices are provided. You will hold NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas Category 1, and a Full UK driving licence, with

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to travel across South Coast and London.

Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems across commercial and residential sites.

Air Conditioning Installation Engineer - Mobile

Location: Hampshire - covering the South Coast & London

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing team. This is a fully mobile, field-based position covering installation projects across the South Coast and London.

The role would suit an experienced engineer who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and can manage installations from start to finish. You will have the freedom to plan your own workload, organise materials and deal directly with clients on site.

A company van, fuel arrangement, mobile phone and tablet/laptop will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems


• Carry out installations across commercial and residential sites


• Plan and manage your own daily workload and travel


• Complete pre-installation site surveys where required


• Source and order materials and equipment for installations


• Install systems in line with manufacturer specifications and current industry standards


• Test, commission and hand over completed systems to clients


• Complete job sheets, certification and relevant documentation


• Liaise with clients, site contacts and the office team


• Identify additional works and report any issues found on site


• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment


• Work safely and in accordance with F-Gas, health & safety and company procedures


• Travel across the South Coast and London, with occasional overnight stays when required

Requirements

• Proven experience installing air conditioning systems


• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent


• F-Gas Category 1 - essential


• Full UK driving licence


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload


• Good organisational and time-management skills


• Confident dealing directly with customers and clients


• Comfortable using tablets, laptops and mobile applications


• Willingness to travel across the South Coast and London

Desirable

• Experience with VRF/VRV systems


• Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi or Toshiba equipment


• 18th Edition electrical qualification


• Valid CSCS card
