Job summary

Academics is seeking an MLD Teaching Assistant in Windsor to support students with moderate learning difficulties in a secondary SEN setting. You will work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and monitor student progress, nurturing confidence, independence, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 support for students with moderate learning difficulties.
  • Supporting small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks.
  • Helping students develop their confidence, independence, and communication skills.
  • Assisting teachers with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
  • Supporting the implementation of individual education and support plans.
  • Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
