Job summary

Academics is seeking an MLD Teaching Assistant in Windsor to support students with moderate learning difficulties in a secondary SEN setting. You will work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and monitor student progress, nurturing confidence, independence, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Providing 1:1 support for students with moderate learning difficulties.
Supporting small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks.
Helping students develop their confidence, independence, and communication skills.
Assisting teachers with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
Supporting the implementation of individual education and support plans.
Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
