Wayve seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to advance world-model architectures (GAIA and successors) and scale synthetic data generation for autonomous driving research.

You will work between ML research and engineering to post-train models, generate multimodal data, and integrate it into training stacks used for real driving. Collaboration with scientists and platform engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in applied ML / research engineering with shipping neural nets.
• Hands-on experience with video, generative, or world models.
• Working knowledge of cameras and 3D geometry; understand calibration and reprojection.

Responsibilities

• Post-train world models and iterate on GAIA-class architectures.
• Coordinate with research and platform engineers on generation and training artefacts.
• Bridge research findings to scalable training pipelines and synthetic data generation.
• Improve throughput, reliability, and scalability of generation workflows.
