Job summary

Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving with a focus on mapless, hardware-agnostic AI that learns from real-world experience. The role sits between ML research and engineering to scale GAIA-class world models and synthetic data pipelines, accelerating training and deployment for autonomous vehicles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in applied ML / research engineering
• Strong Python and PyTorch; comfortable with GPU training
• Hands-on experience with video, generative, or world models
• Working knowledge of cameras and 3D geometry
• Evidence of using generated or simulated data in downstream models

Responsibilities

• Post-train or ablate GAIA-based world models and checkpoints
• Generate synthetic data at scale and manage GPU resources
• Land synthetic data into training pipelines and RL workflows
• Improve throughput via inference optimisations and self-serve workflows
• Expand coverage to new vehicle platforms and safety scenarios
• Collaborate with researchers, infra and domain owners to keep generation and training cohesive
