Job summary

Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving and seeks a Model Integration and Release Engineer. You will own the release process for driving models, validating changes from research to production, and coordinating across ML engineering, AI Platform, evaluation, and CI/CD to ensure safe, reliable deployments.

You will review model changes, manage release cadences, and implement automated checks to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Significant software integration and release experience with branching strategies, release cadences, and configuration management.
• Understanding of ML training, model lifecycles, and infrastructure to deliver models reliably.
• Ability to review architecture, code, and metrics and challenge deviations from intent.
• Experience with ML tooling such as PyTorch, TensorRT, model registries, quantisation, or deployment.
• Comfort with CI/CD systems and GitHub Actions.
• Ownership mindset to fix underlying processes rather than patching releases.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve model development and release processes, including branching, cadence, and quality gates.
• Review proposed model changes to ensure alignment with intent and outcomes.
• Assess evaluation results and release readiness against quality and safety standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive cross-team improvements.
• Balance speed with rigour in release decisions.
• Maintain release pipelines for full ML training and delivery lifecycle.
• Implement automated checks and tooling to catch issues early.
• Ensure reliable evaluation methods and CI/CD workflows.
• Improve monitoring and observability for production releases.
• Establish engineering standards and scalable processes for ML systems.
