Peoplebank is seeking a beverage-focused team member to join on a zero-hour contract in Mottram. You will mix drinks, take orders from guests, and deliver drinks that wow the eye and the palate while ensuring a friendly guest experience.

You will verify IDs, keep the bar stocked, clean the area, plan menus, and assist with food items for customers at the bar. Flexible hours and site versatility are provided across multiple on-site locations.

• Organise the bar area to speed up drink preparation and inventory
• Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies
• Plan and design bar menus for service
• Prepare and serve appetizers, snacks or other bar/food items
• Assist with app technology for shifts

Contract: Zero Hour
Salary: £13.50 per hour

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
• Taking beverage orders from guests or colleagues serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
• Satisfying guests requests in a timely manner
• Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
• Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with guests
• Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
• Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
• Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
• Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
• Placing orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies
• Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
• Planning bar menus
• Preparing and serving appetisers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar
• App technology for shifts.
