Job summary

Hoar Cross Hall is seeking a creative Cocktail Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team on a part-time or full-time basis. You will craft bespoke cocktails, engage guests with expert recommendations and uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The role requires passion for mixology, exceptional service and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Cocktail Bartender experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, garnishing and drink presentation.
• Good understanding of liquor licensing, and health & safety standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are on the lookout for a creative and enthusiastic Cocktail Bartender to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team on a part-time or full-time basis.

This role is essential in providing our guests with bespoke and memorable cocktail experiences, contributing to the overall excellence of our dining and bar services. The ideal candidate will have a flair for mixology, a passion for service, and a dedication to creating innovative and delicious beverages.

Key Responsibilities

• Crafting a variety of exceptional cocktails, from classic recipes to innovative creations, ensuring each drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engaging with guests to provide personalized recommendations, share knowledge about our beverage offerings, and create a welcoming and memorable experience.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and pairing suggestions.
• Ensuring the bar area is always clean and well-organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Staying informed of current trends in mixology and beverage service.

Personal Specification

• Have previous experience as a Cocktail Bartender within the hospitality industry.
• Have excellent knowledgeand eye for detail in mixology, garnishing and serving drinks
• Have a good understanding of liquor licencing, food hygiene and quality standards.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have the ability to be flexible to work in a dynamic environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have previous experience with large volume covers.
• Have previous experience in providing first-class bar service
• Have food Safety Training.

Shift Pattern

• Part-time and Full-time roles available
• Zero hour contract - morning, afternoons and evenings
• Weekdays and weekends available
• Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
