Job summary

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete safely and efficiently. You will inspect loads, verify delivery instructions, and communicate with plant staff to coordinate deliveries while upholding our safety standards.

Responsibilities include paperwork, pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining truck cleanliness, with a focus on exceptional customer service on every delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
• Must be at least 18 in SC and 21 in GA.
• Minimum of one year CDL driving experience required.
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five years; no more than three moving violations in the past three years.

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads for proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a ready-mix truck while delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers. This position plays a critical role in representing our company values, ensuring safety, and providing exceptional customer service on every delivery.

What You’ll Do:

What You Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least:
  • 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
  • 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
• No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
