Job summary

Holcim UK is recruiting an HGV Mixer Driver to support our Ready-Mix operation in the South West. You will drive a concrete mixer, ensuring safe, timely deliveries from the depot to construction sites across the region.

Based primarily at our Kessel site, you will receive full training to transition from HGV to mixer driving where needed, with career progression opportunities within Holcim’s UK network.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence required.
• Knowledge of the South West region is beneficial.
• Strong commitment to safety in all driving tasks.
• IT literacy to track deliveries and use depot systems.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixer truck on a day-to-day basis.
• Deliver across the South West region from the Ready-Mix depot.
• Based mainly at Kessel, with occasional travel to other plants in the region.

The Opportunity

Looking to take your HGV driving career to the next level? Whether you're an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver or new to the field, we'll fully support your development and help you transition from HGV to Mixer driving with full training provided!

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and safety-focussed HGV Mixer Driver to join our team, regionally based, you'll be delivering across the South West region.

Responsible for the day to day operation of a concrete mixer truck based predominantly in Kessel at our Ready-Mix depot but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region.

What will you bring?

• You’ll be a safe driver, with a valid Category C licence.
• You’ll have good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• You’ll have an excellent awareness of safety and input this into your driving ability.
• You’ll need to be IT literate, as you’ll spend time learning our IT systems to track your deliveries.
• You’ll have excellent communication skills, able to speak with colleagues and customers confidently.
