Job summary

Cloud Imperium Games in Manchester is seeking a motivated Mid Level Mission Designer to help shape the persistent universe and craft engaging player experiences. You’ll join the Mission Design Team to design, document and implement missions and events using StarScript, collaborating with multiple disciplines to hit ambitious timelines and deliver high-quality content.

Cloud Imperium is looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded Mid Level Mission Designer to work on its ever-expanding Persistent Universe at its UK studio located in the heart of Manchester.

About the role:

You would be a part of The Mission Design Team (M D T) made up of designers, a producer and embedded QAs, responsible for many aspects of the game , such as creation of the first implementation of new missions , upkeep of existing missions, Creation of Events for players .

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We're currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. What You’ll Do:

• Work with your lead to nail down details of a high-level design.

• Work in various in-house tools including StarScript , a visual scripting editor, to create logic for missions, systems and events .
• Work closely with other disciplines to plan and sort out dependencies to guarantee deliveries on time.
