Job summary

MBDA is offering a 10-week placement within the Integration and Missile Validation (IMV) team in Stevenage. You will apply university learning to real-world tests and gain hands-on experience across software, hardware and system integration.

We require an undergraduate currently working towards a degree in engineering, physics, mathematical sciences, technology, computing or general science. The role is onsite five days a week with BPSS security checks and a pro-rata salary of £24,460.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in an Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or a General Science discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ground Trials, Flight Trials, Functional Integration, Firing Trials, In-Service Support, and design/test equipment to support proving activities.
• Plan and design test strategies to support proving the capability of missile systems.
• Learn to integrate missile equipment to test rigs and develop data analysis and reporting skills.
