Core Group is seeking a hands-on Minor Works Manager (Construction) to oversee site surveying, estimating and field-team leadership across the North of England and Midlands.

This temp-to-perm role requires early starts, extensive national travel, and the ability to translate on-site data into detailed cost estimates and pricing. A competitive package includes a company vehicle or allowance, commission, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in surveying, estimating and coordinating projects.
• Ability to translate site data into accurate cost estimates and pricing.
• Strong communication skills with clients, technicians and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey work: site visits, measurements, photos and videos.
• Prepare detailed quotations and cost breakdowns for clients.
• Coordinate field teams and ensure projects meet high standards from start to finish.
• Order materials and manage procurement for booked works.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and client solutions.
• Travel nationally with some admin days at home or in the office.
