Job summary

RecruitMe is recruiting a Experience Quantity Surveyor for a major UK property services contractor to support planned works across the East Midlands, with a focus on Nottingham. The role requires ownership from tender to completion, working with operations, subcontractors and clients to protect margins.

The package includes up to £60,000 DOE, car allowance, fuel card and a bonus up to 25%, plus extensive benefits and potential progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in planned maintenance or social housing.
• Strong cost-management and financial reporting skills.
• Proven ability to produce CVRs and forecasts, valuations and payment notices.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, pricing and evaluating tenders.
• Managing projects commercially from inception to completion.
• Identifying opportunities to improve project margins.
• Cost management, forecasting and CVR reporting.
• Managing commercial and financial risk.
• Preparing and managing valuations, payment notices and invoices.
• Administering subcontractor accounts and applications for payment.
• Monitoring project costs and commercial performance.
• Working with operational teams to keep projects on budget.
• Managing direct labour and subcontracted works.
