Job summary

Mining Remediation Authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Water and Abandoned Metal Mines programme, delivering mine water treatment and environmental remediation projects across England, Wales and Scotland.

You will lead from concept through design and construction, manage budgets, risks and governance, and work with multidisciplinary teams, consultants and delivery partners to secure consents and funding for impactful environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects from planning through to delivery.
• Strong budget, programme and risk management expertise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors.
• The ability to collaborate across teams and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through design and construction to successful completion.
• Manage budgets, programmes, risks and project governance to ensure successful delivery.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
• Manage consultants, contractors and delivery partners to achieve project objectives.
• Build relationships with regulators, landowners, local communities and other stakeholders.
• Secure consents, permissions and approvals; develop business cases and investment proposals.
