Job summary
SLR Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Mine Water Professional to join our established team. You’ll lead mine water and hydrology projects from planning through detailed design, working closely with clients and multi‑disciplinary teams.
Based in London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Nottingham or Dublin, you’ll gain exposure to international mining projects, ESIA, closure planning and related disciplines while mentoring junior colleagues and driving technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience delivering mine water, hydrology or water resource projects.
- Degree in hydrology, water resources engineering, environmental engineering or geology with professional registration (CEng, CEnv or CSci).
- Project management and stakeholder engagement skills including client liaison and workshops.
- Knowledge of water management design codes and best practices for mining.
- Experience with water modelling tools, rainfall-runoff and water balance modelling.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of mine water and hydrology projects from planning to detailed design.
- Manage client liaison, workshops, reporting, QA/QC and site visits.
- Mentor engineers and scientists, support resource planning and development.
- Collaborate across Europe, Asia‑Pacific, Africa, and the Americas on complex mining projects.
