Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods in Kenninghall is seeking a Mill Cleaner to join our busy processing facility. This full-time, permanent role involves cleaning designated areas, equipment, floors and walls, while following safety protocols.

You will perform routine cleaning inspections, undertake deep cleaning and special projects, report deficiencies, manage simple work orders and inventory, and may supervise peers.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience beneficial, but not essential.
• Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated facility areas, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, clean floors and walls, machinery when safe.
• Perform and document routine inspections and cleaning activities.
• Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or need for repairs.
• Complete work orders, manage inventory, and possibly supervise other employees.
• Wear safety equipment as required (hard hat, eye protection, gloves).
• May be asked to carry out other related duties within your competence.
