Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods is seeking a Technical Assistant for our Kenninghall feed mill. The role focuses on running NIR analysis on raw materials and finished feed, monitoring quality, and processing data, with sample preparation for external testing as needed.

The position is full-time, site-based at Kenninghall, with a Monday–Friday 40-hour week. Training is provided where needed, and the team adheres to HACCP principles to ensure quality across all materials.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative to problem solve.
• Awareness of HACCP principles.
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferable but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Run NIR analysis on raw materials and finished feed.
• Monitor physical quality and data processing.
• Prepare samples for external testing and manage samples.
