Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our established client in Daventry. The role involves welding mild steel, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and performing fabrication tasks to quality standards.

You will operate MIG welding equipment, inspect welded surfaces, and help meet production deadlines in a busy manufacturing environment. Candidates must have MIG/TIG welding experience, be able to read drawings, and possess strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proven MIG/TIG welding experience in mild steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent manual dexterity and clear written/spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG welding machines on mild steel components.
• Read engineering drawings and weld to specification.
• Perform inspections with measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Carry out fabrication tasks (cutting, grinding, drilling) as needed.
• Ensure production deadlines are met and report issues promptly.
