Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled MIG Welder fabricator to join our manufacturing team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will fabricate and weld metal components with precision, following engineering drawings and safety guidelines.

The role offers a 12 week temporary-to-permanent contract, a pay rate of £14.00–£14.50 per hour, and a early shift from 07:30 to 16:30. You will work both independently and as part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding to high standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools in fabrication.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.
• Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces.
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with welding equipment and perform basic maintenance as required.
