Workforce Staffing is seeking a skilled MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator in Birmingham for a permanent, full-time role. You will produce high-quality welded and fabricated components from drawings, with opportunities to develop welding and fabrication skills in a busy workshop.

The job requires strong MIG welding ability, TIG experience where needed, and the discipline to read engineering drawings and work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder Fabricator is desirable.
• Strong MIG welding skills required.
• TIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good fabrication and fitting capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

Salary: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, Days

Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator looking for a stable, long-term position with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business?

We are currently looking for a skilled MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for a permanent role with a company that can offer long-term stability and progression.

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated and welded components from drawings and specifications.

Your duties will include:

• MIG welding mild and stainless steel
• TIG welding where required
• Fabrication and assembly of components
• Working from engineering drawings
• Measuring, marking out and cutting materials
• Using workshop machinery and hand tools
• Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
• Carrying out finishing and dressing of welded components
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator position
• Strong MIG welding skills
• TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good fabrication and fitting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
