Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position with our client in Gainsborough. Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test).

Rate of pay is £14.50 to £16.78 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). This role involves welding stainless steel and mild steel to engineering drawings, inspecting finished work and maintaining a safe, clean production area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Work effectively as part of a busy production team.

We are looking for MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position based with our client in Gainsborough.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview and weld test)

Rate of pay is £14.50 to £16.78 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

This will be working Monday to Thursday 6am -2:30pm and Friday 6am - 1:30pm

You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to engineering drawings and company quality standards, working primarily with stainless steel and mild steel.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.


• Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Positive attitude, reliability and excellent timekeeping.


• Willingness to work overtime when required.


• NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
