Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for MIG & TIG Welders to join our client in Gainsborough. Immediate start available subject to interview and weld test. Rate of pay £16.35 per hour, with shifts Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1am and Thursday 2:30pm to 12:30am.

You will weld stainless steel and mild steel components to engineering drawings, adhere to quality standards, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production targets within a busy team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding in manufacturing.
• Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.

We are looking for MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position based with our client in Gainsborough.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview and weld test)

Rate of pay £16.35 per hour.

This will be working Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1am and Thursdays 2:30pm to 12:30am

You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to engineering drawings and company quality standards, working primarily with stainless steel and mild steel.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, reliability and excellent timekeeping.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
