Job summary

Service Service in Norwich is looking for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our manufacturing and assembly team.

You will weld on steel and stainless components, read drawings, and maintain weld quality to high standards. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and workshop safety practices.
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Welding qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and other materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure clean, strong welds.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as required.

£34,000 - £36,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 4:30pm

Service Service is recruiting an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a manufacturing and assembly team in Norwich.

This is an opportunity for a skilled Welder to carry out MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components and structures, working to technical specifications and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

The Role

You will be responsible for MIG and TIG welding a range of metal components and structures, ensuring work is completed accurately and to the required specifications.

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and other materials.
