Job summary

Service Service in Norwich, Norfolk is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our manufacturing and assembly team. We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £36,500 per annum and a standard 40-hour week on a Monday–Friday schedule.

As a skilled welder, you will perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components, interpreting drawings to exact specifications and maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and workshop safety practices.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Welding qualifications or certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and other materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure clean, strong welds.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as required.

£34,000 - £36,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 4:30pm

Service Service is recruiting an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a manufacturing and assembly team in Norwich.

This is an opportunity for a skilled Welder to carry out MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components and structures, working to technical specifications and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

The Role

You will be responsible for MIG and TIG welding a range of metal components and structures, ensuring work is completed accurately and to the required specifications.
