University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Educator (Band 6) to join the practice development team across two sites. The post involves mandatory training, preceptorship programmes and clinical placements, with support for new staff through induction and ongoing education to maintain essential competencies.

The role requires up‑to‑date clinical skills and demonstrated experience in mentorship, education delivery and evidence‑based training.

Competenze

• Registration with NMC is essential.
• Postgraduate education qualification or equivalent required.
• Demonstrable mentorship experience and instructor qualifications.

Mansioni

• Teach and facilitate learning of staff from MCA's, MSW's, midwives and multi‑professional teams.
• Organise induction programs and liaise with departments for education planning.
• Support introduction of new equipment, pathways and audits.
