Comton Group is seeking an External Sales Representative to cover the Midlands region. The role is field-based with roughly 70% on the road and 30% in the office, selling industrial products to OEMs, SMEs and Tier 1/2 manufacturers.

You will identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts and build lasting relationships with key decision-makers, while achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth. A UK driving licence and travel across the Midlands are required.

Formación

• Proven external sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution.
• Background selling into manufacturing sectors with distribution channels.
• Experience selling fasteners, fixings, tools, engineering components or similar industrial products.
• Exposure to OEM customers, SMEs and Tier 1/2 manufacturers.
• Strong hunter mentality with ability to generate and convert new leads.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and win new business across the Midlands.
• Grow and manage existing customer accounts to maximise opportunities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing and engineering sectors.
• Promote a range of industrial products and provide tailored supply solutions.
• Plan visits, maintain a strong sales pipeline and collaborate with internal teams to deliver service.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to regional growth.
