Job summary

General All-Purpose Plastics Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Midlands to lead sales initiatives and build strategic partnerships with key clients. You will partner with branch managers and our production and logistics teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive market growth.

The role offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission, an OTE up to £70,000, and a Monday—Friday schedule. A company car or £6k car allowance plus a fuel card is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales management role within building materials or construction.
• Proven ability to manage and grow key client relationships.
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong data-driven approach to sales and market insights.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute impactful sales strategies for the Midlands.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
• Stay ahead of industry trends through market research and customer insights.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations for potential clients.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimise offerings.
• Provide informed sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
