Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for Building Plastics to cover Anglia and the Home Counties. You will manage around 130 distributor accounts and drive turnover across fascia, gutters, window trims, and related plastics products.

The role targets revenue of over £10m with strong emphasis on new business development and end-user sales after 6–12 months. A hybrid working arrangement and a fully expensed car are provided.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years field sales experience with a proven track record of selling building products.
• Ideally a blend of customer experience, housebuilders, main contractors, installers or social housing providers and builders merchants/buying groups.
• Knowledge of fascias, gutters, cladding systems, window trims or underground drainage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a range of building plastics for roofline, rainwater, and related applications.
• Initially manage around 130 distributor accounts typically worth £20,000-£250,000 each.
• Revenue responsibility for approximately £10m+.
• After 6-12 months, up to 40% time selling to end users such as national and regional housebuilders.
