Job summary

Derry Area School District is seeking an Extended Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher for the Middle School Learning Support program. This role lasts approximately from August 17, 2026, through early November. The teacher will support students with special education needs, creating a conducive learning environment.

Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and appropriate certification in Special Education. Responsibilities include planning lessons, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with staff for effective instruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and appropriate PDE certification are required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with district curriculum and state standards.

Responsibilities
