Job summary

Keystone Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated lunchtime supervisor to join our midday team and ensure a safe, efficient and enjoyable lunchtime period for all pupils. You will move and set up tables and equipment, supervise children, promote healthy eating and good manners, monitor behaviour in the playground and indoor spaces, lead suitable activities, and maintain safety checks throughout lunchtime.

The successful candidate will work with our midday team to ensure that we provide a safe, efficient and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils. Duties of the role are:

• Moving and setting up tables and lunch time equipment


• Supervise and assist the children during their lunch


• Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained


• Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play


• Lead suitable activities


• Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe


• Put out appropriate play equipment ensuring items are stored safely at the end of the lunchtime period


• Be aware of and follow the school's safeguarding, fire and other emergency procedures


• Clearing the dining hall and supervision of pupils both inside the school and in the playground.
