Job summary

Willoughby Academy is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant to work two hours per day, Monday to Friday, during term time. You will join the midday team to supervise children in the lunch hall and on the playground, helping to prepare and tidy the dining area after meals.

The role requires a patient, approachable manner and a good standard of English and Maths. Willoughby Academy is an all through provision (2–19) for students with varying needs.

Qualifications

• Good English and Maths skills are required.
• Some knowledge of food preparation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime activities in the lunch hall and playground.
• Assist with food preparation, and tidy the dining hall after use.

Willoughby Academy is seeking to appoint anenthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to work two hours per day Monday toFriday as part of the midday team to provide effective lunchtime supervisionto the Academy.

Our Midday Supervisory Assistants play a vital role withinour academy. The role involves supervising our children during midday breakboth in the lunch hall and in the playground, as well as helping prepare andtidy the dinner hall after use. The successful candidate will have apersonable manner, patience and will be able to engage with children of allages. You will join a happy place to work, where all staff are valued. Thesuccessful candidate must be able to work well under direction and use his orher own initiative, have a good standard of English and Maths and have someknowledge of food preparation is essential. This role is term time only.
