Job summary

Grove Road Community Primary School in Harrogate is seeking a Mid-Day Supervisor to support lunchtime routines and supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground.

You will help arrange appropriate play and physical activities under the Headteacher's guidance, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times, with an enhanced DBS check required as part of safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children during lunchtimes is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check in line with safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lunchtime duties, including supervising children in the dining hall and playground.
• Arrange and supervise appropriate play and physical activities under the Headteacher's direction, ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing.

Job description

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31.07.2027

Working Hours: 6.25hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
