Job summary

Dorset Council UK is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join the busy lunchtime team. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall or playground during lunchbreak and help keep the eating area clean and hygienic.

The role is permanent, with Monday to Friday work from 12:05pm to 2:15pm. You will also assist with washing up/clearing away under the guidance of the School Cook, with some lifting when setting up tables and benches.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join the busy lunchtime team.

The successful person will be responsible for supervising pupils in the dining hall or the playground during the lunchbreak and maintaining a clean and hygienic area in which to eat food. It will also include washing up/clearing away under the guidance of the School Cook. There is an element of lifting with this role when setting up tables and benches.

This role is permanent across Monday to Friday. The hours of work are 12.05pm to 2.15pm. Applications are preferred online via the Dorset Council website, however a paper application form can be requested from the School Office when online access is difficult.
