Job summary

North Gosforth Academy in Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne is hiring a Midday Supervisor to oversee students during lunch breaks. The role is 1 hour per day, 5 days a week, with a Living Wage supplement (£13.45/hour) aimed at realising fair pay for school support staff.

The successful candidate will be an effective team player, preferably with school environment experience, and will supervise students while promoting positive behaviour and safety during lunch periods.

• Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
• Ability to supervise students during lunch and manage behaviour according to academy policies.

Responsibilities

This role is to work 1 hour per day over 5 days per week.

We are seeking a Midday Supervisor to be a member of the support staff team at North Gosforth Academy. You will supervise students during the lunch break in the dining hall and other social areas which may be inside or outside. This will include managing student behaviour in line with the academy’s policies and procedures.
