Job summary

North Gosforth Academy in Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne is hiring a Midday Supervisor to oversee students during lunch breaks. The role is 1 hour per day, 5 days a week, with a Living Wage supplement (£13.45/hour) aimed at realising fair pay for school support staff.

The successful candidate will be an effective team player, preferably with school environment experience, and will supervise students while promoting positive behaviour and safety during lunch periods.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
• Ability to supervise students during lunch and manage behaviour according to academy policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch breaks in the dining hall and nearby social areas.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour in line with academy policies and procedures.
