Job summary

Linslade School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to help provide a safe, happy lunchtime for pupils. The role supports the smooth day-to-day running of the school during lunchtimes.

The post is part-time, fixed-term until 31 August 2027, working 12:30pm–2:30pm (10 hours per week, term-time only). Applicants must be willing to undergo child-protection screening prior to appointment.

• Supervise lunchtime activities and manage dining hall safety.
• Support positive behaviour and social interaction during lunch.
• Provide basic first aid when needed (training provided).
• Commit to safeguarding and child-protection screening requirements.

Contract Type: Part Time, Fixed Term until 31st August 2027

Hours: 12:30pm - 2:30pm / 10 hours per week / Term Time only

Salary: NJC Level 1 Point 3, £13.28 per hour

Start date: ASAP

We are seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our team and provide a safe, happy, and well-supervised lunchtime for our pupils. This is an important role that contributes to the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Your main duties will include:

• Supervising children in the dining hall and playground.

• Ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction.

• Providing basic first aid as needed (training will be given).
