St. Paul’s C.E. Junior School in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to supervise lunchtimes, ensuring safety and engagement for pupils. The role operates term-time, part-time, with a pro-rata salary of £24,796 (A) depending on hours.

The successful candidate will join a supportive school team and contribute to a positive playground environment, reporting to the school leadership and following safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Be happy and proactive in engaging children in play.
• Have a positive and purposeful approach.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be able to manage incidents of non-compliance and playground issues in a sensitive and effective way.
• Be flexible and have a sense of humour.
• Have a basic understanding of food hygiene would be advantageous, although training would be given.

• To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to, at all times.
