Job summary

Juniper Hill School in Flackwell Heath is seeking a friendly, caring and hardworking lunchtime supervisor to join our valued team. You will help supervise pupils during lunch, assist in the dining hall and playground, and contribute to a positive, nurturing lunchtime environment.

The role is permanent, part-time and term-time only, with an hourly rate of £12.77. Interviews are planned for the week commencing 02/11/2026. A supportive team and opportunities for training are provided.

Qualifications

• First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working with children or in schools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Help children enjoy positive lunchtimes in the dining hall and play areas.
• Set up the dining room daily and assist with serving food.
• Provide TLC and basic first aid for playground bumps and scrapes; tidy up after lunch.
• Attend training and meetings to support and develop the role.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of that team, to work in a great environment and benefit from the training opportunities that we offer all our staff. Many of our Midday Supervisors go on to work in other roles within school.

Duties to include:

• Helping our children to have positive lunchtimes, in the dining hall and in play areas
• Setting up our dining room each day and helping serve food
• Delivering TLC and basic first aid for playground bumps and scrapes Clearing away equipment and cleaning up after lunch
• Periodically completing training and attending meetings to support and develop your role
