Job summary

Little Hill Primary School in Wigston is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to support pupils during the lunchbreak. This role is part-time and school term-time only, with hours 12:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will champion safeguarding, build positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and follow school policies. An enhanced DBS check will be required, and shortlisted candidates should expect an online due diligence check.

• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to participate in staff training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the daily lunchbreak (12:00–13:00).
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures to keep children safe.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Work as part of a supportive staff team to maintain a positive lunchtime environment.

• Is comfortable working with children from Foundation Stage up to and including Year 6.
• Is able to follow instructions and use initiative.
• Will follow the school’s policies and procedures.
• Has the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
