Do you enjoy being the friendly face that helps make lunchtime the best part of a child's day?
At Ferndown First School, we believe that some of the most important moments in a child's day happen outside the classroom. Lunchtimes are a chance for children to build friendships, develop confidence, learn valuable social skills and simply enjoy being children.
That's where our Midday Supervisors come in.
As a Midday Supervisor, you'll be far more than a playground presence. You'll be the reassuring adult who helps a child find a friend to play with, the calm voice that settles a disagreement, the encouraging smile that helps a nervous child feel like they belong, and the watchful eye that keeps everyone safe.
If you enjoy working with children, can bring energy and positivity to each day, and want to make a genuine difference in young lives, we'd love to hear from you.
Help create a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime environment for all pupils.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure lunchtimes run smoothly and effectively.
Caring, patient and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.
Warm and approachable, building positive relationships with pupils from all backgrounds.
Calm and reassuring, particularly when children need support or guidance.
Observant and attentive, noticing when a child may need a helping hand or encouraging word.
A positive role model who promotes kindness, respect and inclusion.
Reliable, professional and able to work well as part of a team.
Enthusiastic about making a difference, even through the small interactions that can mean so much to a child.
