Job summary

Laindon Park Primary School & Nursery is seeking a friendly Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime and play team, supporting, inspiring and engaging children during the school day. The role is term-time only, 11:40–13:20, Monday to Friday, with a pro rata salary of £4,963 including fringe allowance.

You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and play areas, encourage inclusive games and help prepare the dining space. Training and development are supported.

• Preparing the dinner hall for lunch and clearing away afterwards

Actual pro rata salary £4,963 inc. fringe allowance

Our friendly school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime and play team to support, inspire and engage children at Laindon Park Primary School & Nursery

Duties will include:

• Encouraging games, enabling pupil involvement and inclusion
• Preparing the dinner hall for lunch and clearing away afterwards
• Encouraging healthy eating
• Administering first aid
• Respecting the need for confidentiality
