Job summary

Greensted Primary School & Nursery is seeking a compassionate Midday Assistant to support students during lunch breaks. The role is term-time only with 12:00-1:20pm hours, 6hrs 40mins per week.

You will help maintain safety and positive behaviour, set up play areas, and work closely with staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break.
• Set up areas of the playground with toys and activities and ensure pathways are free from obstructions.
• Follow the school behaviour policy and encourage good standards of behaviour at all times.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils.
• Follow the MDA rota.
