Job summary

Elworth Hall Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime team. You will supervise children aged 3 to 11, indoors and outdoors, helping to keep everyone safe and happy during the lunch period.

The successful candidate will work well in a team, communicate effectively with pupils and staff, and support positive behaviour. Previous experience is welcome but not essential; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
• First Aid qualification would be advantageous; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 3 to 11 indoors and outdoors during lunch.

About the Role

The Governors of Elworth Hall Primary School wish to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Assistant to join our dedicated lunchtime team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the safety, welfare and enjoyment ofour pupils during the lunchtime period. Duties will include supervising children aged 3 to 11 years bothindoors and outdoors, encouraging positive play, supporting good behaviour and helping to create asafe and happy environment for all.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Is able to remain calm and responsive in a busy school environment.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A First Aidqualification would be advantageous; however, training will be available for the successful applicant.
