Job summary

Stratospherec Ltd is hiring a Mid Level QA Software Tester to join a small QA team for a SaaS platform used by global clients. The role involves end-to-end testing across web, API, and integrations, plus hands-on testing in the Basingstoke office with physical hardware.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of testing experience, strong automation skills in UI/API areas, and familiarity with AI-assisted QA tooling. Travel to the UK office is expected weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-7 years of experience developing, planning, and executing testing for complex software applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing automated testing solutions with scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and system testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases and test plans based on requirements and engineering input.
• Identify opportunities for automation and develop or maintain automated test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Execute and manage functional, integration, regression, and system testing while communicating progress and blockers.
• Configure and maintain test environments, servers, and test data for execution.
• Perform hands-on integration testing in the Basingstoke office with devices and hardware.
• Help diagnose defects and collaborate with teams to validate resolutions.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across multiple services and components.
• Assist with API, integration, and CI/CD testing initiatives where applicable.
• Track and report quality KPI trends throughout the SDLC.
